For decades people have sworn that there is a connection between the state of mind and skin condition, but it’s only recently that science has
Upper Arms shaping and sculpting is growing popular as a treatment as technology evolves. Loose skin and excess fat in the upper arm is notoriously hard to tackle with exercise alone.
Known by many women as ‘bingo wings’, the problem can become more noticeable with age as skin elasticity and firmness decreases. People can feel self conscious and unable to wear the clothes they wish to wear as they wish to conceal the upper arms with long sleeved tops.
Depending on the amount of underlying fat and the degree of tightening required, the treatments we recommend for upper arms are VASER LIPOSUCTION, Velashape 3, AQUALYX and INTRAcel.
VASER LIPOSUCTION is an ultrasound treatment that removes excess fat, but unlike surgical liposuction it does not require a hospital stay and is ideal for shaping up small areas like the upper arms.
Velashape 3 is a non surgical, skin tightening, toning and cellulite reduction treatment. This third generation device uses radio frequency and infra red technology to work on the collagen deep within the dermis. Results can often be seen a few days post treatment with the full effects taking place at around 12 weeks after a course of treatment. We have seen some great results in treating the upper arms. We recommend a course of three treatments, two weeks apart.
INTRAcel combines micro needling with radio-frequency and is the latest high tech treatment for skin firming.
